1. Necessary storage
The booking form uses session storage er.booking.v1 to keep your journey and contact details while you prepare a booking. This storage stays in the tab and is removed when the tab closes. It does not track you across other websites.
Your answer to the banner is kept in local storage er.consent.v2 for six months, whether you accept or decline. This avoids asking on every page. These purposes are necessary for the requested service or to remember your choice.
2. Analytics, with your permission
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand which pages are useful and how requests progress: a fare viewed, a vehicle chosen, a request received, or a click to call or use WhatsApp. Google Tag Manager may manage these tags.
No measurement script loads before you agree. Declining leaves booking available. We use basic consent mode: without permission, tags and their cookieless requests remain blocked. Advertising features, Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.
Journey addresses, names, email addresses, phone numbers, flight numbers and special requests are excluded from analytics events. Query parameters and fragments are removed from reported page URLs. Automatic form measurement is disabled. A received request is not recorded as a payment.
3. Storage and retention
| Storage | Purpose | Maximum duration |
|---|---|---|
er.booking.v1 | Keep the booking form in session storage | Until the tab closes |
er.consent.v2 | Remember agreement or refusal in local storage | Six months |
_ga, _ga_* | Measure visits with Google Analytics after permission | Thirteen months, without automatic renewal |
Individual event data is retained according to the Analytics property’s retention setting, for no more than fourteen months. Aggregated reports may remain longer. Fonts are hosted on our own domain and do not contact Google Fonts.
4. Accept, decline or withdraw
The banner offers two equally presented buttons: ‘Accept all’ and ‘Decline all’. Neither choice is preselected. The ‘Cookie settings’ link in the footer reopens the banner at any time.
To withdraw permission, choose ‘Decline all’. The site removes Analytics cookies accessible on its domain and reloads the page to stop tags that were already running. Your refusal is remembered for six months. You can also remove this site’s data through your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before your decision.
5. Providers and contact
Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and companies in its group. After permission is given, Google receives measurement data and the technical information necessary for those requests. Some processing may occur outside the European Union, including in the United States; applicable safeguards are described in Google’s data processing terms.
Choosing a WhatsApp link opens that provider’s service under its own rules. Any payment made through an external service is subject to that provider’s rules.
