Three terminals, three meeting points
The airport has two passenger terminals and one business aviation terminal. The meeting point is not the same in each case, and it is not improvised on arrival: it is sent the day before, with the chauffeur’s mobile number.
One detail that matters: the fixed fare is identical from all three terminals. Picking the wrong one when you book changes nothing about the price, only where you are met. The flight number then lets us correct the mistake without you having to do anything.
What flight tracking actually buys you
Tracking is not there to display a time on a screen. It is there to move the pickup without anyone asking you to confirm it. The reference becomes the real landing time, and the included hour of waiting runs from there.
A flight diverted to Marseille, or cancelled outright, falls outside that. It is no longer a delay, it is a different journey. One call repositions the booking, and a journey that does not happen is not charged.
The honest comparison with tram, train and coach
Public transport out of Nice airport is good, and pretending otherwise would be a poor argument. Tram line 2 runs to the city centre every 7 to 8 minutes on weekdays, and the shuttle tram between Terminal 2, Terminal 1 and Grand Arénas is free. Nice Saint-Augustin station is seven minutes on foot from Terminal 1 by a dedicated walkway, with a train every 15 minutes on weekdays from 5.50 am to 10 pm.
The coach to Cannes is a genuine express: its official timetable is headed direct by motorway, with a single intermediate stop, for 50 to 55 minutes announced. What it does not do is run late. The last departure from Terminal 2 is 21.55, and the last coach back from Cannes to the airport leaves at 19.50. The same pattern holds toward Monaco, where the last return departure is around 20.10.
So the honest line is this: travelling light in daylight to a city centre, the tram or the train wins on price and often on time. A chauffeur earns his place with luggage, with a group, with a late arrival, and with a final address that is not a station.
What the fare covers
The price shown covers the journey, tolls, airport parking and fuel. Child seats and boosters are provided at no extra cost, on request at booking. Meet and greet in the arrivals hall with a name board is part of the service, never an option priced on top.
A flat night supplement applies between 11 pm and 7 am, Paris time. It sits inside the figure the booking engine displays before payment, never discovered afterwards. And no fare is ever recalculated on the day because traffic was worse than expected: your fare is fixed when you book, and it does not move.
