Who it is for

Private clients: fixed fares, no meter

Your fare is fixed when you book, and it does not move: there is no meter on board. Cancellation is free up to 12 hours before a transfer, and 24 hours before hourly hire. One hour of waiting is included at the airport, counted from actual landing.

Three steps, nothing to repeat

Pick-up, destination, date. The price appears before anyone asks for your name. That order is deliberate: you can compare before handing over your details.

Then you choose how to settle. Pay now, or register the card with no charge and pay after the journey. Either way the confirmed amount is the amount taken. Tolls, parking, fuel and child seats are already inside it.

One limit: online booking closes 24 hours before departure. Below that the screen switches to a call or a message, because the question stops being the price and becomes whether a car is free.

The last bus leaves earlier than you think

On this coast, arriving is easy. Leaving after 8 pm is the problem.

The express shuttle between the airport and Cannes runs direct on the motorway and takes 50 to 55 minutes. Inbound, it works. Outbound, the last departure from Cannes to the airport is 7.50 pm. On the Monaco side, the last coach leaves around 8.10 pm. A 10.30 pm flight has no direct public option left, in any season.

The coastal train holds on later: roughly every 15 minutes on weekdays from 5.50 am to 10 pm, then every 30 minutes until 11.30 pm, with service extended to 2 am on Sunday mornings. It is a sound answer when you travel light and both ends sit near a station.

Sources: official timetables for regional lines 80 and 81, valid from 2 June 2026, and the Nice Cote d’Azur airport access pages.

When a chauffeur is the wrong answer

One traveller, no luggage, airport to central Nice: tram line 2 runs every 7 to 8 minutes and does the trip in under 30 minutes. Nothing on four wheels beats that, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The car wins back the moment there are suitcases, children, an address that sits on no line, a night arrival, or more than two of you. That is where a fixed fare is worth comparing: a metered taxi on the same route only tells you the total once you have arrived.

Before you arrive

Your questions.

Can I book a car for someone else?

Yes. The person paying and the person travelling do not have to be the same. What matters is the passenger name and mobile number: that is what the driver uses for meet and greet, and that is where the pick-up message is sent.

Do I have to pay when I book?

There are two options. Paying in full online confirms the ride straight away. Saving your card takes nothing at the time of booking and settles after the journey. Both run through a payment provider, never through our own servers.

What if I need a car in less than 24 hours?

Online booking closes 24 hours before pick-up. Below that, the request is handled by phone or message, and the fare is still quoted before anything is committed. The constraint is vehicle availability, not price.

Can I travel with a dog?

A guide dog or assistance dog travels without conditions and without any supplement, including a dog in training accompanied by its instructor or host family. A small animal in a carrier travels at no extra cost. Any other animal needs to be agreed before the journey.

Does heavy traffic change the fare?

No. A fixed fare stays fixed: no meter, no traffic surcharge, no booking fee. The only possible addition is the flat night surcharge of 15 EUR for a pick-up between 11 pm and 7 am, and it is shown before you pay.
