Chauffeur service

Chauffeur service in Ramatuelle: beaches and village

Ramatuelle is 112 km from Nice airport, about 1 h 40 of driving. Tolls and fuel are included, and the fare agreed at booking does not move. Public beach parking is charged from 2 April to 4 October 2026, and free before 11.00 and from 17.00 at Pampelonne.

The paying season runs 2 April to 4 October

The town publishes the dates: public beach car parks are charged from 2 April to 4 October 2026. At Pampelonne, parking is free before 11.00 and from 17.00. Between those hours it is paid by the half hour, at a machine or through an application.

The practical effect on a drop-off is direct. A car arriving at 10.30 pays nothing to park. The same car at 13.00 runs a charge for the whole wait. That is why a driver who knows the peninsula leaves and comes back at an agreed time rather than sitting there: it costs less and it frees a space at the busiest hour.

La Foux junction governs everything else

The whole peninsula funnels through one point, the La Foux junction at the head of the gulf. Traffic from Saint-Tropez, from Gassin and from the beaches all meets there. Delay is picked up at that junction and never recovered after it.

Which makes departure time the real subject of a transfer to the south of the gulf. For an evening flight in August, the margin is taken before setting off, not on the road. The fare does not follow the clock: it is set when you book.

A free shuttle leaves from the Stade stop

The tourist office runs a free summer shuttle from 15 June to 22 September 2026, every day, between the village and the southern beaches, leaving from the Stade stop. In June and September, every twenty minutes from 9.00 to 19.40. In July and August, every fifteen minutes from 8.30 to 19.10.

What the fare covers: tolls, fuel, driving time and parking of the vehicle. What it does not cover: entry to a beach club, or a reserved space on a public car park on 15 August. The price shown when you book is the price you pay.

Before you arrive

Your questions.

What does it cost to have a car wait at a beach car park?

It depends on the hour. The town sets the paying season from 2 April to 4 October 2026 on the public beach car parks, free before 11.00 and from 17.00 at Pampelonne. Between those hours, waiting is billed by the half hour, so leaving and returning is usually cheaper.

Is beach parking charged in winter?

No. The municipal page sets the paying season from 2 April to 4 October 2026 on the public beach car parks. Outside it, from 5 October to 1 April, parking is not charged. The free windows at 11.00 and 17.00 apply to the season only.

Is there a free public waiting point near the village?

Yes, the Stade stop, which is the departure point of the free summer shuttle, with free parking nearby. It is the landmark to name when the beach car parks are full in the middle of an August afternoon.

Why do beach access paths change from one season to the next?

Because the layout of Pampelonne beach is set by decree 2015-1675 of 15 December 2015, whose plan includes a graphic document titled equipment and structures to be removed. A path that existed one summer may legally have gone the next.

What exactly does the fare from Nice airport include?

The fare covers tolls, fuel and driving time, by sedan as by van. It is fixed when you book. No meter, no surprises, even when a July Saturday makes those 112 kilometres longer than planned.
